"In Genesis chapter 1, it's Elohim, Elohim, Elohim. Interestingly, don't God God when he gives us the Bible in the first 35 verses of the Bible, 35 times he says, "I'm Elohim." Because he wants us to know he's an all powerful God who can make something out of nothing and nothing's impossible for him. That's who I am. And then he comes and says, "Now I'm going to create man." And then he calls himself Jehovah Elohim. Yahweh Elohim, the Lord God, the God who's personal, the God who wants to reach into our life. He's the God who God Moses then talks about in Genesis chapter 2 starting at verse 5. And so David says, "That's who my shepherd is. My shepherd is the Lord, the great I am."
